1-Word Tempo Play Call

Everyone talks about TEMPO, but few coaches explain when the football should be snapped or how to sequence plays within an up-tempo system.

An offense that can change tempos and play fast puts tremendous pressure on the defense. Combine No-Huddle Tempo with a Gun Triple Option scheme and RPOs (Run-Pass Options), and defenders are in conflict on every snap.

Here I lay out a ONE-WORD RPO TEMPO SYSTEM that fits right into the offense and lets players think less and play faster in no-huddle, up-tempo situations. It's a simple system I learned and used successfully, and it works especially well with wristbands, keeping communication fast, organized and efficient.
